"It is another session in the case of Armen Ashotyan. It is a process that has already become commonplace for many, but not for the government.
The main goal of these and many other political cases is to forcefully remove political and public figures from political processes, or significantly limit that right.
Although Armen has moved from 15 months of colonial detention to house arrest, his political rights and political participation continue to be severely restricted.
The government uses criminal cases to waste the time and resources of specific individuals to the maximum extent and to keep them exclusively in various legal processes, as a result of which, naturally, many active individuals have serious problems in carrying out their political and social activities."
