A simple application process has been introduced.As part of the work aimed at the digitization of processes related to education, this year a change was made in the admission procedures of professional educational institutions, introducing new possibilities to ensure the accuracy of data. About the allocated places For this year, 6,064 places were allocated for secondary professional educational programs, 3,312 places for vocational educational programs and 800 places within the framework of the programs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Education with secondary professional educational programs will be carried out in 107 specialties, 15 of which are in priority direction with a high scholarship. Education in the vocational education program will be organized in 38 specialties, 21 of which are priority fields with a high scholarship. About the application process, according to KTAK director Artak Poghosyan, the application takes place according to the same system as in the case of first grades and high schools.
"There is a single page, my.emis.am, where parents can create their own personal account. From one account, a parent can have access to different tools and perform their actions in that account. Today, from 9 o'clock, the VET institutions registration subsystem was opened, and parents, having entered it, can register their children in a preferred educational institution. After the summary of the competition, they will receive an answer on the same page," said Artak Poghosyan, assuring that no technical or software problems were recorded. As of the first half of the day, 500 applications have already been submitted, which is almost double compared to previous years.
When applying through the system, parents can see how many free and paid places the state has allocated for a given profession, how many applications are already available for a given profession. Therefore, there is no problem here to panic and to organize the actions very quickly, but the set deadlines must be observed," Araxia Svajyan said.
The application system is flexible, and the applicant can cancel it at any time before the deadline and register a new application. one of them is the ability to follow and monitor the education of our citizens and especially children. As you know, secondary education is compulsory in our country, and after finishing primary school, children have to decide where to continue their education - high school or colleges. And this is a tool for us, with which we will be able to quickly identify those children who will be left out of compulsory education. By default, all children of school age who are not enrolled in either high school or college in September will be considered dropouts. In this situation, together with our partners, appropriate steps will be organized so that these children are identified and directed to the educational system," commented the Deputy Minister of Education and Culture. According to Artak Poghosyan, the director of KTAK, digitization also ensures maximum transparency, providing the applicants with vacant places and the opportunities provided by educational institutions.
