Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, said this during a regular briefing, speaking about the EU's call to impose sanctions on Russia against Yerevan. The Russian diplomat called Kaya Kalas and Martha Kos "Brussels vampires" who "approach normal people and offer to bite them so that they become like them."
"This statement proves that the only goal of the EU is to spoil the relations between Russia and Armenia. They don't hide it anymore. What damage have Armenian consumers seen from Russian-Armenian energy cooperation? None," he said.
