Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya met in Moscow to discuss bilateral relations and the situation in the Middle East, RIA Novosti reports.
"Today, of course, we will discuss in detail the situation in bilateral relations and our approaches to regional and international issues, first of all, in the Middle East," Lavrov said.
The Kuwaiti Foreign Minister, in turn, conveyed to the Russian President Vladimir Putin the greetings of the Emir of Kuwait Mashaal Al Jaber Al Ahmed Al Sabah and the Crown Prince of Sabah Khaled Al Sabah, and also expressed hope for Lavrov's visit.
"My visit today is aimed at strengthening our relations, which have the nature of a strategic partnership," the Kuwaiti minister added.
