Deaconess Hripsime Tahiryants prepared and presented it to the leader of the Armenian Diocese of Georgia and Imeret, Fr. Bishop Gevorg of Surenyantsi (later the Most Reverend Gevorg E. Catholicos of All Armenians).

In the engravings and paintings of Archbishop Hovsep Arghtyuntsi (leader of the Russian-Armenian Diocese and elected Catholicos of All Armenians), both ornate and eagle veils are visible.
