President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko invited Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit Belarus.
"We will be happy to welcome Prime Minister Modi to Belarus. We are always ready to welcome him and look forward to his visit to Belarus. As well as all Belarusian people. I am sure that the Belarusian people would like to see a prime minister here, who is a highly experienced, knowledgeable and influential person," said the head of Belarus during the meeting with Indian Ambassador Ashok Kumar.
The head of state noted that he personally developed very warm and cordial relations with the Prime Minister of India.
"We regularly communicate with him on international platforms, as happened recently in China, during the sessions of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization," Lukashenko's words were quoted by the president's press service.
He also emphasized that Minsk is ready to do everything necessary to ensure the success of India's BRICS presidency in 2026.
"We are ready to cooperate with you under your BRICS presidency and we are ready to do everything necessary to ensure the success of your presidency," the president said.
