The country is in danger due to "invisible" asteroids

Astronomers at Sao Paulo University in Brazil have found that complete asteroid families can be hidden near Venus, which are practically imperceptible by modern telescopes. Calculations show that such bodies may approach the country for several thousand years and even facing it. The study was published in the magazine "Astronomy and Astrophysics" (A & A).

"Our study shows that there is a population of potentially dangerous asteroids, which we cannot find now. They are not in the main zone between Mars and Jupiter, but much closer to the orbit of Venus. Because of their position, they remain invisible, although they can make a real threat to our planet in the future, "said Valerio Karruban, a professor at the University of Geagatingeta, the Faculty of Engineering.
