Oceanologist. The beach will no longer be safe for people

Philip Sapozhnikov, a leading researcher at the Shirshov Ecology Laboratory of the Shirshov Institute of Oceanology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, warned that the climate change makes the beach safely. His words quoted RIA Novosti.

"We are gradually moving towards a situation in Egypt, Anapa, Gelenjik, or elsewhere, swimming in the hotel's swimming pool will be more economically profitable, more calm and healthy," he warned.

According to Sapozhnikov, the swimming pools are preferable for vacationers due to the growing number of sharks and toxic jellyfish in resorts.

In the past, scientists have found that dangerous thermal waves, droughts and floods have become three times more frequent due to climate change since the 1950s. If the emissions of greenhouse gases do not be reduced, droughts will destroy more agricultural lands, and strong rains will lead to more catastrophic floods.
