A new stage of interplanetary mission. Juice is preparing for Venus's gravitational maneuver

Europe has successfully restored the connection with its most advanced interplanetary device, JUICE JUPITER PROBE. It has to make his most important transition to Venus in a few days. Juice (Jupiter Icy Mons Explorer) is a Jupiter system for exploring the Giant planet and its three main satellites, Ghanomed, Callisto and Europe. It plans to reach Jupiter in July 2031, passing through four gravitational maneuvers, the second of which will take place this Sunday, approaching Venus.

The loss of unexpected contacts in mid-July caused great concern for specialists. Juice was about 20 hours of "silence", 200 million kilometers. The engineers assumed that the problem was connected with the wrong position of Antenna or the transmitter. After a number of attempts, the sixth signal managed to restore the connection. This Sunday Juice will pass by Venus using the planet's gravity to continue Jupiter road. The next gravitational maneuver is scheduled for September 2026 around the country, and in 2029 Juice will receive the required speed to reach Jupiter's system in 2031.
