From June 30, foreigners who enter Russia have a fingerprint and photo


From June 30, digital profiles from personal and biometric data from immigrants enter Russia will begin to facilitate their status monitoring. This stems from the relevant government decision.


Thus, foreigners must provide fingerprints and photos when entering Russia through any checkpoint. This information will be the basis of digital profile. Foreigners will be able to create a digital profile if they wish, in the RUID app. This


It is the analog of Gosuslugi for foreigners. It is possible to report to Russia on visiting and receiving services in the country, for example, to receive medical insurance or agree to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.


The digital profile will have a unique identifier and can replace the paper patent in the future.


The changes will not address Belarusian citizens, young children in Russia, diplomats and consularies of foreign countries, and employees of their families, international organizations accredited by international organizations and their missions and their families.
