Called a way to extend life without refusing to fully alcohol

Scientists from the University of Florida have found that regular physical activity minimizes some negative consequences of using alcohol at a young age. The preliminary version of the study was published in the portal of the American Physical Society (APS).

The study is based on the famous scientific fact. Alcohol abuse increases the risk of cancer and cardiovascular disease and reduces life expectancy. Even after stopping alcohol use, its consequences can last for years. The researchers decided to check whether physical activity could reduce this effect.

During the experiment, 37 laboratory mice were divided into four groups, depending on their lifestyle, alcohol, alcohol and sports without alcohol and sports without alcohol and sports. In six weeks (the equivalent of early adolescence, scientists prompted rodents to imitate the forms of "juvenile" behavior, after which all the animals lived in their normal life.

The results showed that the mice of using alcohol and sedentary lifestyle had a significantly shorter. However, those who combined alcohol use with daily physical activity, this figure was comparable to the control group, which has never used alcohol.

"We recommend that young people use alcohol regularly engage in aerobic physical activity to minimize potential damage," said the Eupere Tangen of the study. "Such exercises have a beneficial effect on the effects of alcohol, brain, liver and muscles."

Scientists stressed that the received data can be the basis for future research with people. The authors plan to conduct additional attempts to study the impact of exercise in different periods of life.
