In Spain, the family did not leave the house for almost four years, fearing the coronaryavirus

The 53-year-old German in the Spanish city of Owredo has kept his wife and three minor children, 8 and 10 years old, justifying as a protection from the postcarded world.

The family lived in a rented house in a rural area on the outskirts of Owedo. The family moved there in December 2021, and since then, children have not attended school and have not had contact with the outside world.

Neighbors did not even know that the house was inhabited.

The police have launched an investigation when the neighbor noticed the children in the window and informed the authorities. The doors of the house were opened only to get the food packages brought by the suppliers. This has caused doubts, and the police have received orders to search the house.

On April 28, 2025, two children aged 8 and 10 were found at home with mask and diapers. The mother insisted that it was "preventing".

They are reportedly continued to remain isolated even after all quarantine measures in Spain have been eliminated long ago.
