"Dear children,
I congratulate you on International Children's Day.
June 1 is an important occasion to once again confirm that ensuring the rights of every child is one of the primary obligations of the state and society.
The full realization of children's rights is possible only in an environment where safety, respect for dignity, access to education, equal opportunities and the right to participate are ensured.
Every child should be heard and protected in the family, in educational and other institutions and in all spheres of public life.
Any manifestation of violence, discrimination against children and any other violation of their rights is unacceptable. Ensuring the best interest of the child must be at the heart of every decision and action.
Dear children,
You are full holders of rights. Know your rights, keep in mind the legal and ethical principles, freely express your opinion and take an active part in the discussion and decision-making processes of issues concerning you. Your safe, dignified and harmonious development is one of the most important preconditions of every democratic and law-abiding society.
Dear colleagues and citizens,
This day is also a call to all adults to be more responsible and consistent in the protection of children's rights and to create an environment where every child will have the opportunity to develop, educate, create and fully realize their potential.
Dear children,
I wish you a peaceful, safe and happy childhood, health, new achievements and a path full of success," the message reads.
