The Cyber Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs warns that on the social platform "TikTok," there are posts circulating offering Armenian citizens material aid supposedly from a "state fund" in the amount of 350,000 AMD by clicking on a link and submitting an application within a limited time frame.
However, in reality, criminals using this scheme try to take over your "Telegram" account, depriving you of further access to it. Moreover, the hijacked account can be used to carry out other criminal activities, including extortion, fraud, and applying similar schemes against other citizens.
We urge you:
not to click on suspicious links,
not to fill out applications offered on unknown websites,
not to provide Telegram login details or verification codes received via SMS.
Information about state support programs should only be verified through official sources of the relevant government bodies.
Do not trust financial offers from unknown sources and keep your accounts secure.
