"Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry has issued three times in today's media outlets that the units of the Armenian Armed Forces have opened fire on Azerbaijani positions. It is clear to everyone that this is another misinformation, but it is also clear that these messages do not spread accidental.
So what are Azerbaijan's goals? What does fascist Ilham Aliyev want to give those statements, and who does it address?
Azerbaijan's target audience can be divided into three main groups.
1. The first target is the people of Armenia. Azerbaijan is trying to put psychological pressure on the Armenian society, keeping us in constant tensions. The goal is to prevent the Armenian people from the psychological trauma of Artsakh's destruction, war losses and diplomatic failures. This is a tool of psychological war with which Baku explicitly shows that the so-called talks with Pashinyan's government and agreed documents have zero value.
In this regard, US President Trump's personal representative Steve Weckoff has arrived in Baku two days ago, and today the delegation of the Russian Federation Council headed by President Valentina Matvienko is on an official visit to Baku. This proves that Aliyev received both the US and Russia's agreement to organize provocations against Armenia and at least a psychological war.
2. The second target is the people of Azerbaijan. Aliyev seeks to keep his population in constant tension, presenting Armenia as a permanent external enemy and danger. Through this, he tries not only to justify the possible new military aggression against Armenia, but also to disperse and prevent internal grievances.
3. The third target is Israel. Aliyev sends a message to Israel that is ready to support the possible military operations of Israel and the United States against Iran. He hints that in that case he will close the northern Iranian road through Armenia, and in favorable conditions, the northern regions of Iran may invade the Turkish-speaking Iranian resurrection.
These misinformation statements of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan once again prove that Pashinyan's collaboratory government, fairy tales on the peace treaty lack any ground.
The Armenian people must realize that Pashinyan's words have no value especially on Armenia's security. Armenian salvation is in the organization of comprehensive self-defense and resistance. At this stage, Armenia's strategic idea must stand in this stage, compiled by ideological, national and decisive figures.
