The United States has offered the Iraqi government to increase pressure on Iran, the Iraqi Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein, emphasizing that his country is trying to maintain a balance between Washington and Tehran.
At the same time, the Minister stressed that Baghdad hopes to continue the strategic dialogue with the US administration. "We have no concern to deal with the new US administration," he said.
In addition, Minister Hussein noted that Washington sent unofficial messages on the situation of armed groups, adding to Israel's threats within Iraq.
Hussein also touched upon relations with Syria.
