US President Donald Trump has signed an executive decree to cancel the unilateral sanctions regime against Syria on Monday, which, however, does not apply to former Arab country leader Bashar al-Assad and those related to him. The text of the document was published by the White House press service.
The restrictions will be stirred from July 1, and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has been instructed to ensure that sanctions against Damascus will also be canceled within the UN.
In addition, the Head of the US State Department has been instructed to discuss the possibility of removing terrorist countries from the United States.
RUBIO was also instructed to study the expediency of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (banned) and its leader Ahmed al-Sharaan to keep the expediency of storing it on the US list.
