At this moment, the state has created all the opportunities so that our citizens engaged in the field of science receive decent remuneration for their work: Minister

“There is only one candidate in the competition for the head of the department at YSU, who also works as a toastmaster.

What are you doing in this area so that representatives of the scientific sphere are properly appreciated?” – this question was asked by a journalist to the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Higher Education, Zhanna Andreasyan, who, in response, responded:

“At the moment, the state has created all the opportunities so that our citizens engaged in the scientific sphere receive decent remuneration for their work.”

According to her, starting this year, the base salary of scientists has increased from 100 to 300%.

“We also provide the opportunity to participate in numerous grants and take advantage of them.

It is at YSU that we have scientists whose salaries are much higher than those of high-ranking state officials, precisely due to their work.

At the moment, it is scientists in the natural sciences who are more active,” the minister said.
