The IAEA will limit the volume of distance education in urban schools

It is planned to restrict the volume of distance education in urban areas of education, science, culture and sports. According to the project, the words "in the rural area" were removed from the previous changes, which led to the spread of large-scale distance learning in schools in urban settlements. However, the IMF research has shown that distance education cannot replace the existing learning process, so it is expedient to return the previous settlement.

According to the proposed amendments, distance learning will be maintained only in rural areas, where the vacancies of the teacher are not replenished by a competition. Before that, the courses of the relevant subject will be conducted by teachers of mentor schools, ensuring the continuity of education.

In urban areas, where the issue of the vacancy of the teacher is adequable, the organization of distance learning will be limited to ensure the lesson will continue to provide high quality.

The IAEA emphasizes that this change is aimed at increasing the quality of education in public institutions and ensuring the efficiency of the lesson.
