Syrian Transition President Ahmed Al-Sharaa has received an invitation from his French counterpart Emanuel Mondron to pay an official visit to Paris in the coming weeks. This was stated by the Syrian office after his telephone conversation with Makron.
"Ahmed al-Sharaan received an invitation from the President of France to visit France in the coming weeks," the text reads.
According to the office, Makron congratulated the post of Al-Syria President and expressed full support for the Syrian transition phase. "The presidents discussed the need to work together to maintain its stability," the statement said.
