According to the TV channel, Trump arrived with his wife, Melania, and his youngest son, Baron.
"Trump arrived in Washington, D.C., on January 18 to begin his inauguration activities," CBS News notes.
The TV channel clarifies that the plane of the newly elected president landed at the Washington airport on Saturday evening.
Immediately after this, Trump went to his golf club with his family. A festive dinner and fireworks were held.
CBS News adds that Trump will attend a wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery on January 19.
After that, he will go to "Capital One" sports arena for an exhibition.
