Gmail has a new feature that can’t be turned off

Google has introduced new features for Gmail aimed at improving the quality of emails created with the help of artificial intelligence, PhoneArena reports. These innovations are available both on the web version and on Android and iOS mobile devices. One of the key new features is Polish, designed to help users compose emails. Polish offers three stylistic options: Formalize, Elaborate, and Shorten, which allow you to format the text of the letter in the desired style. To use this option, you need to open a clean draft of the letter and click on the “Help me write” icon. The feature is rolling out gradually and is currently only available to some users. At the moment, Polish is available to owners of Google Workspace with the Gemini Business and Enterprise add-ons, Gemini Education and Education Premium, and Google One AI Premium.Google confirmed that the Polish feature is enabled by default and cannot be turned off.
