Google Chrome is the fastest but the most problematic browser

PCWorld, a technology internet publication, has tested the speed performance of popular browsers such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Microsoft Edge, Brave, and Vivaldi. The main criterion was the loading time of website content, especially those rich in graphical elements and JavaScript. The testing was conducted on a computer equipped with an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor, NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti graphics card, 16GB DDR4-3200 RAM, and a Samsung 970 Evo storage drive. The operating system used was Windows 10 version 22H2.Tools like Speedometer 3.0, Jetstream2, and Motionmark 1.3 were used to measure speed. The first test assesses webpage rendering speed, the second evaluates JavaScript execution speed, and the third measures graphical element rendering speed.According to the test results, Chrome took first place in the Speedometer test and second place in all other tests, making it the leader among the browsers tested. However, despite its high performance, the testing author did not recommend its use due to its extensive data collection practices. On the other hand, Firefox ranked last in the tests but excelled in terms of privacy, collecting minimal user information.
