The State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia will make a tour in China

From December 28 to January 2, the State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia will perform in China.

The orchestra, under the leadership of the artistic director and chief conductor Sergey Smbatyan, will have 6 concerts in 5 Chinese cities: Beijing, Urumqi, Chanan, Nantong and Chengdu. The orchestra informs that the concert programs include well-known works of Armenian, Russian and European classics. They have become traditional in China.

In addition to European and Russian composers, the concert programs also include the works of Armenian composers, which will be played for the first time in many concert halls. The tickets for many of the concerts have been sold out for a long time, which is an important indicator for our orchestra," says Sargis Balbabyan, director of the State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia.

The State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia is a regular guest in China, and the concerts aim to publicize classical music, as well as Armenian compositional and performing arts in that country.
