Sculptor, member of the Union of Artists of Armenia, Honored Artist of Armenia Ohan Petrosyan has died. The funeral ceremony will take place on December 26, at 18:00-20:00 at the "San Lazaro" funeral hall. The funeral will be held the next day. on December 27 from the same place.
Vladimir (Ohan) Petrosyan was born in 1941. In 1979-1964, he studied at Yerevan Art and Theater Institute. He created TV films and plays.
Among his works are: "Alexander Spendiaryan" (1975, bronze, HAP), "Don Quixote" (1971, wood, ZAT), "Return" (1983, wood, ZAT), the door of the library named after Khnko Apor (1982 , wood, Yerevan), "L. Motalova" (1976, cast iron), "Hrant Matevosyan" (1985, marble), "Arshil Gorky" (1987, bronze), "Sose Mayrik" (1987, marble), "Bust of Marshal Baghramyan" (1997, marble, "Marshal Baghramyan" of Yerevan Metro station), the memorial statue of Franz Werfel (1998, bronze, granite, Vienna), Maxim Gorky monument (1973, 1st prize of the republican competition), "Teacher" statue group (1974, 1st prize of the republican competition), Patriotic War Memorial (1989, all-union 1st prize of the competition), the design of the Armenian pavilion of the International Trade and Industry Exhibition (1978, Algeria, silver medal), "Taras Shevchenko" (2013, Yerevan). was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Armenia.
