Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian President, called the situation created in Aleppo "an encroachment on the sovereignty of Syria", reports RIA Novosti.
"As for the situation around Aleppo, it is certainly an encroachment on Syria's sovereignty in this region, and we are in favor of the Syrian authorities quickly restoring order in this area and the constitutional order," said Peskov.
Yesterday, the Ministry of Defense of Syria announced that the Syrian armed forces responded to the terrorist attack in Aleppo and Idlib provinces.
Militants suffered heavy losses both in terms of equipment and manpower.
