The head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, believes that the conflict in Ukraine will end if Kiev stops helping the West.
"Everyone is talking about what US President-elect Donald Trump is thinking when he wants to quickly end the war," the diplomat said in an interview with Spanish radio station RNE.
"If we stop helping Ukraine, Ukraine will not be able to defend itself and the war will end. I don't want this to be the way to end this war," he added.
Russian authorities have repeatedly stated that pushing weapons into Ukraine will not weaken Moscow's resolve or change the course of the special military operation.
