A few days ago, the president of "Right to Health Human Rights Defender" NGO, healthcare expert Anush Poghosyan posted on his Facebook page, warning that the RA government is starting the process of eliminating outpatient clinics in Gegharkunik region under the guise of "optimization".

E-draft:, a project "On Amendments and Amendments to Decree No. 1911-N of the Government of the Republic of Armenia of November 2, 2006" is circulated, the need for which is justified by the need to implement changes in the healthcare systems of the Gegharkunik region of the Republic of Armenia.

According to the project, around 30 medical clinics of Gegharkunik region are being optimized and transformed into so-called "bunches".
