Lavrov told what language Ukrainian soldiers speak at the front

Most of the Ukrainian soldiers on the frontline speak Russian, said the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Lavrov during a meeting with a young Belarusian activist, TASS reports.

According to the minister, there are laws in Ukraine aimed at the destruction of the Russian language in education, media, cultural sphere and simply in everyday life.

"The overwhelming majority of Ukrainians on the front lines speak Russian," Lavrov said.

Before this, Lavrov announced that by banning the Russian language, the Ukrainian authorities are trying to break their people, because even the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Armed Forces of Ukraine) are more comfortable communicating in Russian.
