The 100-year-olds living in Yerevan will receive 1 million drams each as support. Such a decision was made at the meeting of the Yerevan Council of Elders. The authors of the project are Diana Kerobyan and Natalya Sinoryan, members of the "Civil Contract" faction.
The goal is to promote the longevity of the residents of Yerevan. Beneficiaries can become those persons who have been officially registered in the city of Yerevan for the last 5 years at the time of the 100th anniversary.
The monetary support is provided in the same way as the pension of the given beneficiary is provided (in cash to the beneficiary's pension card or through "Haypost" service).
There is no need for the beneficiary to submit an application or any other documents.
