Attempts to import undeclared gold and silver jewelry were prevented at the "Bagratashen" customs checkpoint.
In one case, gold jewelry with a total weight of 3 kg and 16 grams was found in the possession of a citizen who arrived in Armenia from Georgia, in another case, around 1.5 kg of silver jewelry was found in the citizen's bag.
Regarding the above-mentioned facts, protocols were drawn up regarding the violation of customs rules with the characteristics of the violation of customs rules stipulated by Article 316 of the RA Law "On Customs Regulation", and the goods that were the direct object of the violation of customs rules were taken.
