The current and elected US presidents Joe Biden and Donald Trump met at the White House. They reached an agreement on the peaceful transfer of power.
During the meeting, Biden promised that he would ensure a smooth transition of power to the next US administration and congratulated Trump on his victory in the presidential elections.
"We are committed to the smooth transition of power, as said. We will do everything to satisfy your requests," said Biden.
In response, Trump noted that politics is cruel and often not pleasant.
"But today everything is fine and I appreciate it. I also thank you for the peaceful transfer of power," said Trump.
