"We welcome the progress in the process of normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and emphasize respect for the territorial integrity of both countries, in accordance with internationally recognized borders, as well as the solution of humanitarian problems.
In this context, we call on Azerbaijan, the prestigious host country of the annual UN Climate Change Conference, COP29, to immediately and unconditionally release all Armenian prisoners of war and hostages, thereby strengthening the trust between the two sides at this historic moment of reconciliation," the statement said. in the statement, while stressing the inadmissibility of the use of force and the importance of refraining from belligerent rhetoric and hate speech in order not to hinder the establishment of sustainable peace in the region.
