US President Donald Trump has admitted that the US military operation against Iran is taking longer than he expected. “We have built the most powerful military in the world.
We have had to use our military longer than I thought, but we cannot allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon,” he said, speaking on the evening of September 10 at the Republican National Convention in Dallas, ahead of the November midterm elections.
The head of the White House reiterated his claim that the United States controls the Strait of Hormuz. “We control the Strait, and I call it Trump Strait,” he said.
