A plane carrying US President Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff and US President's son-in-law Jared Kushner has left Poland after a visit to Kiev for talks on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, according to Flightradar24. The Boeing C-32A departed from the southeastern Polish city of Rzeszow at 8:04 a.m. local time (9:04 a.m. Moscow time) and was in Polish airspace as of 9:36 a.m. Moscow time, heading west. Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Witkoff and Kushner in the Kremlin on Saturday. The meeting lasted about three hours.
The Russian side was also represented at the talks by Russian President's aide Yuri Ushakov and Special Presidential Representative for Investment and Economic Cooperation with Foreign Countries, Head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), Kirill Dmitriev.
On Sunday, American negotiators arrived in Kiev by train from Poland. Ukrainian TV channel TSN reported the conclusion of the official part of the talks, which took place in several rounds, and were later joined by representatives of the United Kingdom, France and Germany.
