Azerbaijan announces the search for 3 Russian political commentators

The Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan initiated a criminal case against Russian journalists and political commentators Ivan Knyazev, Semyon Uralov and Alexey Chadaev. Knyazev is a journalist and presenter of the "Moscow 24" TV channel, Uralov presents himself as a political consultant and media expert, and Chadaev is an adviser to the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, a televangelist and reporter.

According to the Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan, during the programs, they made calls to forcibly change the constitutional order and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, as well as inciting national hatred and terrorism.

Three persons were charged with three articles of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan. They were detained in absentia and an international wanted list was announced. The prosecutor's office of Azerbaijan appealed to international partners to assist in their extradition.
