11 years without cutting hair. A resident of India has set a world record for hair length

Renu Dhariyal, a resident of India, has set a world record for the length of hair among women living today. Guinness World Records experts measured her hair and recorded it at 2.69 meters long, UPI reported.

Dhariyal has not cut his hair since 2015. According to him, Indian traditions served as a source of inspiration for this, in which long hair is considered a symbol of beauty.

The new record holder surpassed the previous record of Ukrainian Alia Nasirova, whose hair length reached 2.57 meters.

Dhariyal admits that hair care requires a lot of patience. It takes him hours to wash and untangle. At the same time, she does not use chemical products, preferring oils and shampoos made at home and with her own hands. The record holder presents his recipes on YouTube.
