The damage caused by the strikes on Wildberries warehouses may exceed 100 billion rubles (about 1.3 billion dollars).
According to the Russian media, one of the company's large warehouses in Elektrostal was completely destroyed by fire.
The founder of Wildberries, Tatyana Kim, announced that the families of those killed in the attack on warehouses will receive 2 million rubles (about $25,000) each, and the families of the injured will receive 1 million rubles (about $12,000).
It was reported earlier that 7 people were killed and 25 others were injured in the city of Kotovsk, Tambov region. One person was killed and the number of injured reached 37 in the Near-Moscow Electrostal.
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation initiated criminal cases, describing the cases as crimes with the characteristics of terrorism.
According to Tatyana Kim, the company is also working on compensation and financial support mechanisms for sellers whose goods were stored in Elektrostal and Kotovsky logistics centers.
He noted that although the company has no legal obligation regarding the full compensation of the lost goods, the volumes of payments to be provided to the sellers and additional means of support are already being evaluated.
