CNN: The US Secret Service may soon begin protecting the Trump family

The US Secret Service is considering accelerating the process in which the agency will begin to protect not only Donald Trump, who wins the US presidential election, but also members of his family, CNN reports.

As the TV channel points out, the accelerated transition to protecting Trump's closest relatives is associated with a review of the level of security for the politician in light of two attempts to assassinate him. The first occurred in July in Pennsylvania, the shooter managed to fire several shots, one of the bullets hit the politician’s ear.

The second assassination attempt took place in September in Palm Beach County in Florida; the offender was detained with a weapon near the fence of the golf club where the politician was.
