Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov received US Charge d’Affaires in Armenia David Allen in Baku. US Charge d’Affaires in Azerbaijan Amy Carlon also participated in the meeting. The parties focused on issues related to regional stability and security.
The interlocutors touched upon the process of normalizing relations between Yerevan and Baku, the prospects for ensuring long-term peace, and steps to advance the relevant process. Opportunities for establishing lasting stability in the region were also discussed.
In addition, the agenda included the results of Mammadov’s visit to the United States within the framework of the anniversary of the Washington Peace Summit and the signed trilateral declaration. Details related to the implementation of the Trump Roadmap for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) program and the creation of a management company to coordinate the construction of infrastructure in this direction were considered.
At the end of the meeting, the agenda of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and the United States was also discussed, as well as the prospects for further cooperation in the areas enshrined in the Charter of Strategic Partnership.
