Chief of the General Staff of the RA Armed Forces, Edward Asryan, in a conversation with journalists in the parliament, denied the claims made by some opposition circles that the weapons acquired by Armenia in recent years are not comparable with the weapons of the Armenian army.
He said that when buying a new weapon, all its parameters are taken into account, its compatibility with the weapons and equipment of the Armed Forces.
"We don't buy weapons just like that. We evaluate all the parameters, standards: can we integrate this weapon with our weapons and equipment, will we be able to learn it, will our troops be able to apply it, how will we manage it in the general automated system," said Asryan.
