The adviser of the President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, was dismissed from his position. The Speaker of the National Assembly signed the relevant decision on November 6, in which it is said,
"Guided by Article 9, Part 10 of the Law on "Public Service", Paragraph 1 of Appendix 1, Clause 18 of the National Assembly Council of June 12, 2017 NDAKHO-006-L, Clause 1, and based on L. I order Simonyan's application of November 6, 2024.
1. From November 6, 2024, release Liana SIMONYAN from the position of advisor to the President of the National Assembly.
2. Head of the staff of the National Assembly-Secretary-General D. ARAKELYAN, to ensure the completion of the final calculation in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia."
It should be noted that he also held the position of assistant to the Speaker of the National Assembly, and was appointed as an advisor from December 2, 2021.
