Venezuela has signed a memorandum of understanding with the American Overseas Oil Company and Crossover Energy Holding. Presidential Envoy Delsy Rodríguez participated in the signing ceremony at the presidential palace in Miraflores.
"The interests of the United States and Venezuela intersect, and we can build on this complementarity to promote the common good of the American and Venezuelan peoples," Rodriguez said on Venezolana de Televisión.
He welcomed a delegation of American businessmen led by Jarrod Eigen, executive director of the White House National Council on Energy Dominance, and asked them to inform US President Donald Trump of Venezuela's "willingness to build a solid foundation for a long-term relationship with the United States."
