There are clear manifestations of the tax system in Armenia, which I have clearly stated many times, and they are increasing more and more. This was said today, on November 4, during the discussion of the state budget for 2025 in the National Assembly, Rustam Badasyan, chairman of the SRC.
"The government shifts the tax burden onto the shoulders of small and medium-sized businesses, writing more tax revenues in the budget revenue line than it can collect. Manifestations of tax terror are aimed at small and medium-sized businesses, and the "oligarchs of the heart" of the government receive privileges regularly. "Tax terror happens with a tail," Avetisyan noted. Retorting the deputy, the SRC president noted that there is no tax "terror" in Armenia, and the administration is aimed at providing favorable conditions for taxpayers.
"Our administration aims to provide good conditions for taxpayers. We work very cooperatively with all taxpayers of Armenia. Customs procedures have been simplified for thousands of taxpayers. The declaration process has been accelerated, which significantly reduces customs clearance time.
If before, businessmen had to devote several days to this process, now the process lasts only from 15 minutes to several hours," said Badasyan.
