Lavrov hopes that there will be no mistrust or lies between Russia and Armenia

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov expressed hope that the narrative of mistrust and lies will not prevail in the public sphere of Russia and Armenia.

"I very much hope that in Armenia they understand well what is happening in the situation when the EU and the European members of NATO have openly declared war on Russia in order to inflict a strategic defeat.

I would very much like that in the public field of our countries, the narrative of spreading mistrust or lies should not prevail and should not be primary," Lavrov said during the meeting with the Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, Alen Simonyan.

The minister emphasized that Russia is never against any partner developing foreign relations in any direction. However, the partners of the European Union constantly put before that country the question of choosing either with us or with them.
