The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, stated that the USA and Iran maintain their will to find a diplomatic solution to the existing problems, and the negotiation process is not interrupted.
"We are doing everything possible to reduce the tension between the United States and Iran, so that the region does not fall into a new conflict and chaos. We have clearly expressed our disapproval of Iran's military intervention and conveyed this to our partners. Now I see that both sides want to open the door for diplomacy, and this is positive. The solution is not in confrontation, but in the search for points of cooperation and negotiations.
This process is active and not interrupted. The basis for diplomacy and dialogue is still open," Erdogan told his reporters after returning from a visit to Egypt.
