On October 30, at 2:04 p.m., the National Center for Crisis Management was alerted that a fire broke out in one of the kindergartens on Shirvanzadei Street in Artashat city.
Three combat units from the fire-rescue squads of the regional rescue departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the operative group of the regional rescue department went to the scene.
Evacuation works were carried out on the spot. 53 children and 4 employees were evacuated. The fire was contained at 14:20 and extinguished at 14:30. An electrical panel was burnt.
