At the extraordinary session of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs on October 24, the package of draft laws "On Amendments and Amendments to the RA Tax Code" authored by the RA NA "Civil Contract" faction of the RA NA was discussed in the second reading.
According to RA Deputy Finance Minister Arman Poghosyan, a number of changes were introduced in the legislative initiative aimed at simplifying the income declaration system in the period from the first to the second reading. In particular, it is proposed to establish that transfers between family members are not subject to declaration. It is also possible to extend the declaration period with more flexible procedures for all those persons who do not have identification cards. The following regulation creates a legal basis for the tax authority to provide self-declaring natural persons for taxpayer registration. According to the project, the banking (financial) information concerning individuals will be presented to the RA State Revenue Committee only with the consent of the individual.
Presenting the proposed additions and changes in detail, Arman Poghosyan answered the MPs' questions.
The revised project received a positive conclusion.
