At the extraordinary session of the National Assembly, which started on October 24, a number of drafts were adopted in the first and second reading and in full.
In the first reading, the package of draft laws submitted by the "Civil Contract" faction of the National Assembly "On Amendments and Amendments to the Tax Code of the Republic of Armenia" and the attached draft laws, as well as the draft "On Amendments to the Law on Service in the Judicial Department" was adopted.
The package of draft laws "On Amendments and Amendments to the Tax Code of the Republic of Armenia" and the accompanying draft laws refer to the simplification of the income declaration system, as well as a number of amendments. One of the important proposals within the framework of the project concerns money transfers between family members. It is planned that they are not subject to declaration, so there is no need to declare money transfers between parents and children, siblings and spouses; it refers to non-taxable income. The other suggestion concerns the declaration process itself. If the citizen is sure that his income is exactly as much as the SRC filled out, then based on the SRC data, the declaration can be considered completed and submitted.
In the second reading, the project on making changes to the Law "On Audiovisual Media" was also adopted, by which MPs of the NA "Civil Contract" faction Taguhi Ghazaryan and Sisak Gabrielyan propose to make changes to the Law "On Audiovisual Media", reducing the number of broadcasters from the minimum threshold of 3 to 2.
It should be noted that the second readings of the drafts accepted in the first reading are planned to be held today at 20:30.
