Openai will become a shareholder of AMD. A new billion deal in the field of artificial intelligence


Advanced Micro Devices, which produces artificial intelligence, announced strategic cooperation, with which Openai, who led by Sam Altman, will receive up to 10% share in AMD.


As a result of the transaction, AMD shares have risen to a preliminary exchange rate, increasing by more than 25%.


Companies have stated that Openai will be located on 6 Gigawatt Graphics Processors in the coming years, starting from the first 1 gigaurt.


With a total estimated calculation, the new Openai infrastructure programs, including NVIDIA and AMD, can make up to $ 1 trillion, as the cost of building each gigawatt is estimated at about $ 50 billion.
